The Dakota Alert Wireless Transmitter only, is compatible with any of the Dakota Alert driveway alarm probes. The probe is NOT included in this part number. When the probe detects a moving vehicle, the MAPSTRAN sends a wireless signal up to several miles to the to the M538BS MURS Base station receiver or the M538HT MURS portable handheld receiver in order to notify you of the occurrence. With this large amount of distance involved, you could have one of the longest driveways in the world and still know about someone pulling in.
